Physical Therapist » Becky Augsburger, PT

Becky was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in leisure services and studies. She worked for 5 years as a flight attendant until she married her husband, a Marine Corps officer, and after moving to Camp Pendleton, California worked as the Coordinator of Activities onboard the HSS Princess cruise ship, which served as an R&R stop for troops during Desert Storm. After a stint in Okinawa, Japan working as a substitute teacher in the Department of Defense schools, Becky moved to Quantico, Virginia where she attended the Medical College of Virginia and graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Following graduation, she moved to 29 Palms, California where she worked at Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital as the director of the nighttime PT clinic, serving Marine Corps dependents. It was then on to Stuttgart, Germany where Becky took a hiatus from physical therapy in order to care for her three children. Following a 2004 move to Olympia, she retook her PT boards to recertify her PT license and began working in home health and with Capital Medical Center. In her spare time Becky enjoys mountain biking, hiking, making (and tasting) her own red wine, and spending time with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
