Lesley Vaughan graduated from York College, City University of New York with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2004. Her Army career as a Second Lieutenant began at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and then took her to Madigan Army Medical Center where she continued to work in Hand and Occupational Therapy. In 2006, she began working as a Hand Therapist in Tacoma. In late 2007, she returned to the military in a civilian capacity, where she successfully developed and led the first Warrior Transition Battalion in the United States Army. In 2011, she resumed her focus on hand therapy; she continues to serve as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserves. Lesley lives in Olympia, is a vocalist, and enjoys gardening & cycling.
