Elaine was born in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up as a navy brat, and moved from place to place every couple of years. Elaine attended high school and college in Utah where she studied History and Political Science. In 1986, she joined the Army and has served in Germany, South Korea, Iraq, and Washington State. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 1999, and worked in Long Term Care facilities in Auburn, Tacoma, and Centralia before coming to work for Capital Medical Center in 2006. Elaine hobbies include cooking, hiking, and hunting for antiques.
